The Takeovers Panel welcomes the recent announcement by the Treasurer of the appointment of 5 new members to the Panel, for terms up to and including 29 April 2018.
The Panel now has 43 members, all of whom are appointed on a part-time basis. Details of the appointments are attached.

Ms Stephanie Charles
Ms Charles is a Managing Director at Credit Suisse Australia and has over 19 years’ experience in both the financial and legal sectors.
Mr Bill Koeck
Mr Koeck is a senior partner at Ashurst Australia practising in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, private equity, company and securities law and corporate governance. Former part time lecturer in the Masters of Law course at the University of Sydney.
Ms Karen Phin
Ms Phin is non-executive director of Magellan Financial Group and has over 20 years’ experience in capital management and capital markets.
Ms Sarah Rennie
Ms Rennie is a Managing Director in Equity Capital Markets at Goldman Sachs and has 18 years’ experience in capital markets.
Ms Nicola Wakefield Evans
Ms Wakefield Evans is a lawyer and experienced company director. She is currently non-executive director of Macquarie Group Limited, Toll Holdings Limited, Lend Lease Corporation Limited and BUPA Australia & New Zealand.
